ALMOST THERE....LETS KICKSTART THIS MASTERS DEGREE TRIP TO SPAIN.
Hi all...I am a Graduate Student at San Diego State University.
I am working hard for my degree in Nutrition. I want to encourage school age children around the country to eat healthier and exercise more often.
The Head of the Nutrition Department is offering a trip to Spain that will explore local, organic markets and vendors in the Barcelona area in an effort to learn more about how to prepare fruits and vegetables and healthy meals from locally grown farms.
This educational trip would only increase my knowledge and help me help others.
I am currently serving as a nutritional consultant with the local school district. We are working on serving healthier school lunches and increasing the percentage of qualified students who actually eat those healthier lunches. I get paid for working 10- 15 hours a week and my loans pay for graduate school. I am also a collaborator with an online "foodie" magazine, where I help write healthy nutrition tips for college students!
This is a 4 week program from May- June this spring.
