Team Baby Mateo!

Donation protected
In June of 2013 Taryn & Jose Aguiar found out they were expecting their first child together. After 4 positive pregnancy tests they were off to their first OB appt. Much to their surprise the first ultrasound showed 2 growing little humans. It's was twins!
Shocked, amazed, excited, scared, grateful, blessed..All emotions that went into finding out they were going to be parents to not only 1 child but 2. Through the coming weeks things progressed and by October they found out they were having 2 very active little boys. Sebastion & Mateo would be their names.

November 4, 2013(Taryn's Birthday), a day they will never forget. Taryn went in for a routine appt. During her ultrasound they received the devastating news that sweet little Sebastion had grown his wings and passed on. Meanwhile, Mateo was still doing well.

Fast forward to November 11th, almost exactly a week after the horrible news. 24 weeks and 2 days along.. Taryn's water breaks. She was immediately flown to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane as she was in active labor. She then underwent an emergency c-section.

Sebastian weighed only 3.1oz. So very tiny but so perfect.

Little Mateo was born into this world weighing 1lb 3oz.

For being so, so, so early this little boy is a fighter and considering the circumstances, he's doing well. He had an ultrasound on his heart and a brain scan preformed on Nov 12th, all came back well. That being said, he still has a long and tough fight ahead of him. It's not going to be easy and at times it will be scary. Prayers are being said and fingers are crossed with the hopes that he will continue down a great path and become the sweet Son, brother, nephew, grandchild and friend that we are all looking forward to seeing grow!

This page has been made for the friends and family of Taryn & Jose. We all know what they're going through now and being 3 hours away from home makes it even harder. Eventually Jose will need to go back to work. By donating to this page all proceeds will go directly to Taryn and Jose to help pay for gas, food and any other expenses that will come up during this long journey they have ahead of them. If you've felt the urge to want to help them but aren't sure how, this is a great way! By donating it's one less thing they will need to worry about and can focus on healing themselves and caring for Mateo.

Myself(Christa, Friend of the family) and The Aguiar Family sincerely appreciate your help during this tough time.
