I desperately need help getting a safe car to get to my sons medical specialists and chemotherapy. I am driving a 1991 Volvo that is not safe to drive across town anymore. It is overheating, no lights due to wiring issues, and has fuel system issues causing it to stall constantly. I have no family other then my 27 year old daughter in Washington and my son, Shea who is 14 and suffering a very aggressive form of pediatric multiple sclerosis and juvenile reumetoid arthritis. I work 7 days a week and until 10 pm at already and just can't seem to do this alone. I am selling my car back to California a buy back program for $1000 and just Need to come up the reast itb would take to get a safe and reliable car that I would feel confident enough to transport my son in to Stanford 4 hours away and Santa Barbara two hours away. I'm desperate right now as my car is no longer safe to take across town. Please help me get this huge need met as it's impossible for me to do this for my disabled son all alone. He just began rounds of chemotherapy for his duo diagnosis and it is a very scary and stressful time as it is on him and I and now we have no transportation. I need help. I'm so scared for him. If you can't donate, please share our story so more know kids get these incurable diseases and suffer too. Thank you.
