"The Garage" Beautification

After much deliberation, and feedback from several people we have decided to try this out... We are trying to exhaust all options and with all of the response and support we have already received, we are going to give this campaign a go.  You just don't know unless you try, right?!

Cozy Décor is a unique home and gift boutique located off the beatin’ path in Pinedale, Wyoming. Owned by Betsy Harmon, the boutique recently joined forces with florist extraordinaire, Terry Hunt, owner of local floral shop Floral Trends. Everything was ideal when the store was originally purchased 4 years ago at the tail end of the boom. Due to the natural gas production in Pinedale, the economy was strong at the beginning of this venture but as it goes, the bust eventually reached our beautiful mountain town and several of the people and companies inhabiting it found themselves having to relocate. Due to this and our current location, we have held on by the skin of our teeth for four years, but alas, we have run afoul due to the fact that our shop is located off of the main drag and away from the hustle and bustle of our little tourist town. Cozy Décor needs to relocate to Pine Street to keep up with other small businesses, but we have already invested 4 years and a significant amount of blood, sweat, tears and money into establishing the boutique at our current location.  We have found the perfect spot, and we are looking for help to raise money for a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, and lighting to make our new garage (that we will be renting) as cozy as our current location. 

In order to make this move a success, we are looking to our closest friends and family members to donate what they can so we can reach a goal of $10,000.00 by the end of August 2014.  We would like to think this isn’t a handout.  It’s a chance for us to move our businesses and hopefully make a success out of something we have failed to do at our current location.  Not to mention, it's an investment opportunity for the wonderful people making up Pinedale. With your help, one more stellar piece of property can have the face lift it so truly deserves. 

This money will update a piece of property that we, as a community, will be able to enjoy for years to come.  The monies raised will be used to help improve the façade of our new building, only to give our quaint little town another beautiful store front.  With your help, we hope to bring our vision of “The Garage” to life! Fresh FLOWERS, unique GIFTS and home DÉCOR, tasty TREATS and yummy BEVERAGES galore!  You’ll be able to swing in and let us serve our favorite locals and passing tourists with a unique experience at what we imagine to be any woman’s dream garage! With sprawling awnings, tire swings and planters, quaint bistro tables and lots of light shining through the garage door window panes… Lots of color and luscious greenery for a true “shop (yes, shop;-) and smell the roses” experience, if you will!

We need your help!! Really great people, with really great product, in a fabulous atmosphere is a combination that is hard to find and we simply need help with this transition to get back in business.

There is no reward offered, no special gimmick. We just want Cozy Decor and Floral Trends to remain in business, in a location where everyone has the opportunity to visit and so we can continue adding our service to Pinedale’s tapestry. We are currently a diamond in the rough…  Our visibility on Pine Street would help significantly and this money could help us do just that.
