This project is about starting up a business dedicated to Lightsaber Fighting, and Star Wars fan activties! It will be a home base in San Diego where our community can hold all our amazing gatherings.

Who are YOU?

I'm Nick Murico, life long Star Wars fan... I mean I got a rebellion pilot helm tattooed on my chest 3 years ago. I'm not here to jump on the Star Wars band wagon. I've lived in San Diego my whole life, and been involved with all different parts of this fine city's community. My love has always been for the Sci-Fi world, with Star Wars taking the top spot.

What makes you think you can pull this off?

I've been doing this sort of work my entire life. It has normally been inside of a Nightclub or sports bar, with loud music and booze free flowing. Outside of the bars and restaurants, I've been involved with different types of martial arts communities. What "we" are doing together, is combining them. I'm going to just be the guy that opens the doors, serves the food, and makes sure everyone plays nice. Those things... I've been doing for ten years already. 

We have already drawn attention from the local Disney Promotions! They gave us posters to give to our community members. 




You said the events will be free, so what does a Membership do?

Members will have access to the facility outside scheduled events. They will be able to host and schedule
 their own training sessions with their own teams. They will also have access to our onsite ARMORY! 


Hold up, an armory?!

Most people already have their own weapon. However sometimes you have a friend who doesn't and they want to give it a go? Maybe you want to step up and try out a serious fight with headgear? Maybe you need a new blade? Or just a different style, Saber Staff, duel wield, a new type of hilt. All of these things will be there for rent, but free use for members!

What else will the place have?

Food!

An area to hang out, play some video games and watch some Sci-Fi movies. 

A fitness area so you can work out in style.

A home meeting spot for all the groups in San Diego that need it. I went to the San Diego Star Wars Society's monthly meeting and it was at YMCA... they weren't sure where the next one would be held. I don't want those groups to ever have to worry about that again.

How much will a Membership be?

$25 a month. $250 a year. You probably spend more on your gym membership right now, I know I do. Once this place is open I'll be doing all of my workouts here. We are not a  gym, but I'm into fitness, and this place will definitely be a place you can break a sweat.  

What do I get out of "donating" money?

First off, this isn't really a donation. It's an upfront future purchase! What you will get is listed below!

$25 = Two Month's worth of Membership

$100 = Two Month's worth of Membership and I will come meet you to give you a lesson on what I do to win fights.

$200 = One Year Membership, and a Lesson from me. 

$1000 = LIFETIME Membership, and a Lesson from me.

$5000 = LIFETIME Membership, and an engraved plaque which will hang on our founders wall for eternity. Of course... A lesson from me. 

What if we don't get enough money to open the place?

We will! It may take some time, but I intend to make it happen!

We will use babysteps to get there and contiue to build on itself. 

With the website now live, www.ulfsandiego.com I will launch a merch and services store there soon to help with the funds. We will be selling our own stunt sabers, patches, T-shirts, and personal lessons very soon. 

 This seems pretty cool, but I like to look a man in the eye before I give him my money...
