My name is Denyse Gordon, and I am a MSgt, having served for 12 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, and in 2007 I transferred to the Air Force Reserves. I have served my country honorably and proudly for the past 21 years.

As a military rape survivor, former, Ms. Veteran America title holder, and now Ms. Veteran America Competition Director, it has been my privilege to share my story with people from all walks of life, all over the United States.

On V-Day 2015, veterans across the nation will gather in their hometowns, and Washington D.C. to Dance, Drum, RISE for Revolution. We need your help.

Please donate $25, $50, or $100, today, to help us empower women survivors (and our supporters) to heal from the ravages of military rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence. As well as military rape aftermath.

The Ms. Veteran America Competition has joined forces with the Women Veterans Social Justice, Mr. MST, The Next Chapter Corporation, Final  Salute, Inc., and Veteran Empowerment Team USA, among others, to bring marginalized veterans of all walks, out of the shadows, in unity, and strength, through the power of art and dance.

As part of the Fatigues Clothesline Program each attendee will create a battle fatigue, which they'll decorate with expressions symbolizing their journey after military rape. They will wear their creations as they dance with fellow women veterans and military rape survivors. Also, each participant will have a chance to submit their stories to Congress through the 26,000 Letter Campaign, and each survivor will submit their names for a A Black Rose Campaign. These roses will ceremoniously be included in our main even in Washington, D.C.

We could not attempt a feat such as this, without your help. We are all volunteers. Monies are needed for basic expenses, such event production, transportation, Marketing and publicity, and lodging. Our hope is to produce a short film which will exemplify the efforts of women veterans across American who rise for revolution this year.

We are so honored, that the One Billion Rising campaign has embraced our initiative, and we look forward to bringing this powerful message of dignity, unity, healing and hope to our veterans who've given so much to ensure our way of life.

Thank you for supporting this endeavor, which is unlike any done before, to unify today's veterans.

We look forward to sharing our journey to healing with you, in the coming weeks.

Respectfully,

Denyse
