My Husband's Visa

Once upon a time... Two people fell in love when they least expected it. We weren't looking to marry, or to really find love so quickly, but we did! Çağrı, and I couldn't be happier to have found one another, but sadly our love story wasn't meant to have an easy fairytale ending.
March 19th, we are set to marry at the courthouse followed by a small potluck with friends. Having the fairytale wedding that many girls dream about no longer matters to me, and I've come to realize isn't that important. Being with the man I love, and trying to save what money we can for him to stay in the states is far more important.
We are already facing some heavy hardships before our wedding date.
My husband to be has a J-1 visa that expires in August. With that Visa he is required to return back to his home country for two years. However, with a good lawyer he has a strong chance of staying and working in the States.
Many have suggested that I move to Turkey with him when the time comes, but that would also prove difficult. Many who know me know that I love a good adventure, but moving there for me would also prove very costly. We rather fight for him to stay here.
My biggest fear is for us to be separated, and we are trying our hardest to save money to avoid that from happening, but the cost of living is high. (And yes the government can, and will separate us if we can't find a lawyer to plead our case.)
We keep falling into hardtimes, but I humbly ask for any help that you can give.

We are asking for 20,000 to pay for lawyers fees, applications fees, and to start our life together (hopefully) in the states, because if all goes well there may be a slight period of time where he won't be able work until a new permit/visa is approved.
