Warren Bass Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Cherished Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
My brother, Warren Bass, passed away unexpectedly this Monday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 45. Warren was a mechanical engineer, and more than anyone we know, he had a true passion for learning and knowledge, especially in the fields of math and science. He was also deeply committed to teaching his two young nieces at every opportunity. When my Pre-K aged daughter, Kate, recently began adding and subtracting in her head, she attributed this new found skill to none other than her beloved "Uncle Warrenie".
We would like to honor his life and passion by donating to the following Houston and Austin organizations dedicated to improving education and STEM outreach (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math):
UTeach
This University of Texas organization is dedicated to changing the world one future scientist, mathematician, and engineer at a time:

Rice University Office of STEM Engagement
R-STEM
This group supports and promotes Rice’s wide ranging efforts to improve K-12 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in Houston-area school districts.

Eanes Education Foundation
Teacher Fund
This exceptional organization funds teacher and staff positions in the district where Warren's two nieces will be attending school:

There is no cap or deadline for our goal, but donations will be made when a portion of Warren's estate is contributed to this fund. We are forever grateful for your friendship to Warren and our family.
