Winter Kate Fights Brain Tumor

Our daughter, Winter Kate, was born on new years day. Her mother noticed her eyes were not focusing corectly and I thought she was in pain alot. Doctor after doctor told us she was fine but we kept pushing. On April 20,2015 we had an MRI of her head done. Doctors discovered a large tumor growing from her optic nerve. She underwent a 14 hour surgery and lost her eyesight. She has exstensive neurological problems resulting from the surgery. She is doing great in therapy and is making progress everyday. Insurance does not cover all of her medication she needs or the therapy. Her doctors at Ochsner are an hour and a half away from our home and Texas Childrens is six hours away.
