Wallace Elderbull needs medical c

One day a post went up on a Donelson area pet Facebook page here in Nashville. It was a cry for help for an elder bull who had wandered up onto someone's property that day. He was dirty, he was tired, his collar was so tight at first glance it looked as if it might be embedded.and he had masses hanging from his body. The woman couldn't keep him but she would offer him shelter for 3 or 4 days would somebody be his Christmas miracle? Right away this dog's story spoke to me. we already had 3 yet I couldn't ignore what would be his probable outcome should he end up at animal control. I decided to pick him up(my husband reluctantly agreed)and my daughter and I picked up elderbull went straight to vet. That car ride he was named - we couldn't call him "dog." He became Wallace because he reminded us of a walrus.
Hard knock life only begins to describe his situation. From no small teeth on top or bottom(causing THE worst breath), bad skin, collapsing tendons, not neutered, to the 2 large masses one nearly touched the ground (and gets in way of urination)- this guy has battle scars of life one that may even be from being hit by a car.luckily he is heartworm negative!
We don't know if these masses are cancerous but they need removal. Dental work is a must with extraction,as is neutering. A full panel Blood screen, and biopsy of masses.
We have fallen in love with this old soul.He will waddle over, mass swinging, tail wagging and sit next to me.he will look up at me directly in my eyes and gently I'll lean in to breathe him in.I am nuzzled, given a lick then off he'll go to his favorite spot and I know he's giving thanks for whatever his time All creatures count, please consider helping us help Wallace and if you prefer your dollars go directly to his vet It is Two Rivers Animal Hospital in Nashville TN
Thank you.
