Hello! My name is Abby and I am 5 years old. I have decided that I wanted to start my own charity called "Abby's Kids" and to start here with my dream of helping kids in need. I have several areas I want to start working on and they are things I am very passionate about.
My mission is to: Be Kind. Be Compassionate. Be Giving.
The first one is to encourage literacy and improve the
reading level of students in K-5th grade. I am a strong reader, however I noticed that my fellow classmates were not. I wanted to see this change. Therefore, my first project is to do my part in helping to eliminate illiteracy. This includes providing books to children that otherwise could not afford them and encourage reading.
My first goal is to raise $310 in the next 3 days to provide reading books to a classroom of 30 kids.
