Advanced Shamanic Training

My wife Linda and I would like to attend a 300-hour (roughly 30 day) advanced training seminar in shamanic healing practice. It is being offered this March, 2018 at Joshua Tree Spiritual Center in southern California near Los Angeles. The presenter is Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D whose doctorate is in anthropology and who spent thirty years among shamanic peoples on several continents. The training itself is $12,000 each. Then there is room and board for a month, transportation (we are going to drive from Shepherdstown, near D.C.), overnight accommodations round trip, meals on the road, and out of pocket expenses.
I spent twenty years as a Jesuit priest and currently I am a Consciousness Coach (www.billobrienconsciousnesscoaching.com). Linda is a Breathwork Practitioner and Massage Therapist who desires to deepen her skills in shamanic practice. Both of us have some basic training but desire to have more to offer our clients.
We have tried for three years to set the money aside but simply have not been able to do it. In order to secure a place in the program, I estimate we will need the funds by November 1st.
Shamanism is no longer "far out". It is increasingly spreading into the mainstream over the past half century and it will be a significant alternative medicine in the near future.
