Agoonoree Scout Camp Land's End to John O'Groats
Donation protected
Agoonoree was founded in 1947 to enable Scouts with special needs to enjoy a summer camp and we’ve been holding Agoonoree camps ever since. We are entirely self funded with only 2/3 of the £28 000 cost of holding our camp covered by the camp fees from our Scouts and volunteers. Every penny raised through our sponsored cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats during camp 2019 will enable over 40 Scouts aged 14 – 24 from special needs Scout Groups in Greater London to participate in a summer camp. Everyone on site, regardless of ability, will be encouraged to get on the static bike and contribute towards the 874miles we need to cycle over the course of 8 days. Most cyclists take 10-14 days so it’s an ambitious target!
Money raised will go towards the cost of site and equipment hire, food and entertainment costs and on and off site activities. Every person who attends camp benefits from new experiences, friendships and skills and without the generous donations from our supporters we would not be able to hold this annual event.
Visit our website to find out more about us, including how you can participate.
From everyone at Agoonoree Scout Camp, thank you for your support.
