Ahlhelm Survival Fund

My name is Nicholas Ahlhelm. Some of you may know me as an author of novels, but as a small press author, income can often be incredibly limited. With my wife Gloria and two daughters, budgets can be incredibly tight month to month.
Two weeks ago I was put into a walking boot to heal a tendon for my foot. Since that time I haven't been able to work my outside job. Disability is still not in place, and may very well be denied. Because of this, my family is forced into an income situation that doesn't give us the support we need to carry on.
A week ago, the brakes on our car failed. Both our brakes Without it, we're stuck with bus travel only, a major problem when work schedules regularly fall out of the regular bus schedule hours. We're left in an untenable situation with an income not able to support our regular monthly living let alone afford an expensive car bill or keep up with the ongoing cost of medical bills, some still left over from my neck surgery last year.
Basically, we can use all the help we can get to survive. This fund is to help us at least get our vehicle up and running to help keep our house running for the next few weeks. It will help keep a roof above the head of our family through July and my return to work.
Thank you in advance to everyone that can help and for that my family will be eternally grateful.
