"Alone" in America

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We're not LITERALLY alone in America. We are surrounded by family and friends that love and care for both my brother and me. This situation did not come about because my dad deliberately chose to go away, rather he felt he had to in order to support us and I know for a fact that he loves us and did not expect all of this to happen. I'm simply looking for assistance in purchasing a vehicle, insurance and helping my caregivers with food expenses. Here is the rest of the story -
Good morning America. For those of you who may have no idea who I am, my name is Val and a lot has happened in my life this past year.
It started when my mom passed away two years ago. Shortly after, my dad started leaving the country for business and over time, his trips became more and more frequent. By the end of my sophomore year, we had to sell my house in order to move into a space that better accommodated a family our size. It was after this that everything got.. complicated.
My brother and dad left for Peru for the summer, and I spent the month of June living with friends (as I didn't have a house anymore). However, we were reunited after I flew down to spend time with them and everything was fine. We were all to come back together at the beginning of my junior year/my brother's 8th grade year in order for us to 1) go to school and 2) find a new place to live. I was the only one who came back. I was constantly reassured that they would be in town shortly after I came back, but that took a little over four months. Half the school year was over, and I had half a year of being "houseless" under my belt by then.
Long story short, they finally come back. And we finally get a new home. And I finally got my license. Essentially, things started to finally fall into place.
Fast forward four months - we lost the apartment, I had no car, and now six months have gone by since I've last seen my dad. So we're back to square one, and it seems that to get myself out of it I need money.
I have been more than blessed to have such generous friends along the way; it is this generosity that keeps me going. In order to take matters into my own hands and get my life straightened out at last, I am asking for this same generosity in whatever financial ways anyone is able to give. The purpose of this gofundme page is to give my brother and I the financial support we would need in order to do things like buy a car, pay rent, purchase groceries, etc, as I wait for my dad to send more money and to further establish himself. Any kind of support would be immensely appreciated.
