Amanda Kessel Memorial fund

As some of you may know, Amanda took her own life on the afternoon of April 30th. She was a light in all of our lives, and she had a way of leaving a glowing impression on anyone that ever came in contact with her. She could turn the worst days into better ones with her smile and sass and we all loved her for that. Her infectious laugh and spider monkey like flying hugs will be remembered forever, but now that light has dimmed and it is our turn to show her family a small token of what she was to us all. She touched all of our lives in some way and many have reached out to ask what they can do to support her family in this horrible, difficult time. The honest answer is that the best support we can give her family comes in two forms: emotional and financial. One of the hardest, most unexpected things after the sudden loss of a loved one is the costs of funeral services. Because of this, any amount of money that people may be willing to donate will be given to the family to help defray these memorial costs and everything else above these costs the will be paid forward to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Any words and love you share will help the Kessel Family through this heartbreak. Please leave a memory with Amanda if you can so that we can share these with her family. In whatever form this support may come, the Kessel family will appreciate it.
