Help Support Amanda's New Treatment

Donation protected
Amanda  has been married to her wonderful husband Shawn for 9 years and they have two amazing boys.

This is her story:
Due to travel expenses and treatment costs, our home will be up for aucion on July 23. I just underwent my 12th surgery due to cancer, with a 8 wk recovery, so I have not been able to work.

My first cancer diagnosis was on September 23, 2010 with stage 3 breast cancer. It was a very fast growing cancer that was not detectable just 6 months prior, as I had a baseline mammogram.
This meant 6 months of chemotherapy, 3 months and radiation and 10 surgeries to boot, by the end of 2011. My sons were 5 yrs and 7 months old when I found out, meaning I wasn’t able to take care of them because of chemo and radiation transference. The tumor in my left breast grew another 5 cm while I was going through treatment, meaning chemotherapy was unsuccessful. So, I went on to have 42 radiation treatments as a precaution, also unsuccessful as you can see.

By July of 2012 I was unable to walk, using the furniture and walls to move around my home. I was in excruciating pain in my right hip and back. I went through all of this to find out the breast cancer had moved to my bones and spine on September 5, 2012, my second diagnosis.
The cancer centers at home were telling me there was no more they could do. But if you know me at all, that was unacceptable to me, and I looked elsewhere for help. All indicators pointed to MD Anderson in Houston. So I have been going there since, and with great results. Tumors in my bones and spine have remained stable for a year now, meaning no new tumor growth. And I have more energy, more hope, and more life.
I have been living with breast cancer for over 5 years now, and I have since started my own social media consulting company in order to continue bringing in income.
They just found new tumor growth on my skull, and left femur.
In addition to my right hip, hip joint, right femur, pelvic bone, spine and right humerous.

The surgery, travel expenses and treatment gets very expensive. Thank you fo ryour support.
