This year I will be going on a week-long building mission to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. The purpose is to build a camp-site for churches to use that does not exist yet in the town. Currently, there are groups that come to the campsite but the shelter is unfinished. The missionaries we are partnering with have been serving the Dominican Republic and Haiti for 25 years! They have started or helped build over 37 churches during their time in the island. The work they have done with both communities is quite remarkable. I will be going with a group of 20 from Rosedale Baptist Church from Baltimore, Maryland on April 30th-May 7th. Your contribution will help me get there and join this mission. I am hoping to build relationships with the community and help the team with Spanish translation or understanding the Dominican community. I am praying we get to minister to people in between the building and the work. Your prayers and donations will be most welcomed and appreciated!

Este año iré a un viaje misionero de construcción en Jarabacoa, República Dominicana. El propósito del viaje es construir un campamento que las iglesias puedan utilizar, ya que dicho no existe en el pueblo. Actualmente, hay grupos que asisten al campamento pero la edificación no está terminada. Los misioneros con los cuales estamos trabajando han estado sirviendo a la República Dominicana y Haití por 25 años! Durante esos años de servicio, ellos han construido o ayudado a terminar 37 iglesias. El trabajo que han realizado con ambos países ha sido realmente admirable. Iré a esta misión con un grupo de 20 de la Iglesia Bautista de Rosedale de Baltimore, Maryland durante el 30 de Abril al 7 de Mayo. Su contribución me ayudará a asistir y a unirme a esta misión. Espero establecer relaciones con la comunidad y ayudar al equipo con traducciones de Español o entendiendo aspectos de la comunidad Dominicana. Mi oración es que podamos ministrarle a la gente entre la construcción y el trabajo. Sus oraciones y donaciones serán muy bienvenidas y apreciadas!
