I'm an artist. I have a day job. I'm turning 40.
I have had the awesome opportunity to be accepted into a month long Artist Residency on a remote island in Panama for a month over my 40th birthday (November 2016). I will be living in a tent, completely unplugged from the rest of the world, making art all day. For a month. By myself.
It sounds amazing. And terrifying. And exactly how I want to celebrate this milestone birthday. It's going to be awesome and hard and scary and exciting. And I could use your help.
I have to take five weeks off of work and still pay my rent and bills. I have to pay for my airfare and a nominal fee each week for food and accommodations. Want to help an artist spend a month focusing on her dreams and her creativity? Every dollar helps.
