The ABTF is committed to providing a platform for artists to present their artistic experiences with dignity and creativity.
We work diligently towards vigorously engaging the next generation with programming that expands their horizons. We do not teach what to think, we teach how to think---creatively.
Our funding campaign will assist:
1. Intern Stipends
We offer rare internship opportunities for students who are unable to take advantage of them due to travel costs. If we reach our goal, we can host 30-40 more students from regional universities. (Travel Stipends: $3000)
2. ABTF Children's PlayFest.
The nation's only Afro-centric play festival devoted exclusively to children. Audiences trickled in until the final performance sold-out with patrons seeking family friendly plays filled with historical characters and positive affirmation! (Production Costs: $2000)
