A Trip to Rome

Hello, my name is Bridget Eddy, and I am a teacher at St. Dominic School, a Dominican girls' school in Post Falls, Idaho. This year, the Mothers are taking the girls from all their schools - in the United States, France, and Germany - on a trip to Rome to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Congregation. This will be a unique opportunity to see and experience Rome, as hundreds of students gather with the Dominicans.

As a teacher at the school, I have been invited to join them on this amazing trip, both as a chaperone and a tourist. Teaching is a very rewarding career, full of satisfying moments as you help your students learn and grow. But, it is also a career that is not undertaken for the paycheck. The work is worth it, but an opportunity like this is a bit beyond my means. This is where I turn to you. I am helping with fundraisers, doing what I can to help pay for the trip. For the rest, I will need some assistance. Every penny will be put to good use, paying for a plane ticket, as well as lodging and food. The opportunity to do these things with the Mothers and my students is more than I would ever have asked for. I will certainly be praying for anyone who helps me while I visit the holy places in Rome.  Every little bit helps. I thank you in advance for your generosity.
