The overall goal for #MoreThanClothing is to create a socially conscious apparel company that markets revolutionary and thought provoking products designed to encourage people to support grass-roots organizations, independent education, and cultural movements. 

The brand seeks to provide customers with quality clothing, promote introspection, advocate pro-activity, and stimulate the revolutionary spirit that’s within all oppressed, marginalized, and distressed people. This company is about being bluntly provocative and conquering ignorance. The goal of our gear is to get you to at least consider other possibilities, question everything, and make informed decisions to foster your holistic growth and development.

Once the brand is officially launched, the business will be a proud sponsor of the following iniatives: 

Nsoroma Academy For Holistic Thought - Nsoroma Academy for Holistic Thought is a community-based, family supported, private school. They work to cultivate internal awareness and discipline, to guide each child toward a strong sense of thoughtfulness, responsibility, respect and courage. Their students actively engage in hands-on learning, free & directed activities, yoga, dance, meditation, martial arts, physical education, and music. Through the support of staff and families, Nsoroma’s students develop high scholarly aptitude while embracing a compassionate connectivity with their world. 

Apples and Oranges Fresh Market - Apples & Oranges is a full service grocery store that opened East Baltimore in March of 2013, providing better food for a better community.

The Great Blacks in Wax Museum – The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum is among the nation’s most dynamic cultural and educational institutions. Because it is a wax museum committed solely to the study and preservation of African American history, it is also among the most unique. Primarily, the presentation of life-size, life-like wax figures highlighting historical and contemporary personalities of African ancestry defines its uniqueness.

Why should you make a contribution? 

Often times, we support brands that don't even consider giving back to our communities. They don't support our schools, businesses, or local initiatives, but we give to them almost religiously, just to maintain a certain look. We don't even know the stories behind  these high-end European brands that we adore so much. Instead of continuing the careless act of spending our hard earned income with everybody, I think it's time for us to pool our money and create something sustainable and community-centered. Consider the story of Black Wall Street, the wealthiest black community to ever exist within the United States. They cultivated their community and made sure thier businesses were supported to the fullest extent. 

With this brand, I want to create something magical. I want people to create world-changing dialogue caused by one of my many thought-provoking designs.
