Hello everyone,
My name is Jeff Rodgers and I am a retired Police Officer in Oklahoma. My life was changed in an instant on May 10th of 1999. You see, on that night at approximately 9:30, I didn’t know that I was going to make the last traffic stop of my career. The car I was pulling over was stolen, with a killer behind the wheel. The man driving had just murdered someone, stolen a gun and the car from the victim and drove into our city. The crime hadn’t been reported yet, so know one, including me, had any idea of what had occurred just outside our city limits. As I was attempting to make contact with the driver, he fired two rounds from a .357 magnum revolver and I was struck in the right elbow and my throat just above my bullet proof vest. The bullet severed the right side of my spinal cord which rendered me paralyzed from chest down. For the past 16 years I have not been able to enjoy the great outdoors, such as fishing, hunting, shooting, or just being able to go anywhere other than paved roads and my yard. Being able to go on an adventure with my wife would be life changing.Being able to interact in a camp setting or riding trails without worrying about ground conditions would be life changing. My wife and I work with the youth from our church and to be able to go on an adventure with them would be life changing. I could actually help my wife with yard work. I didn’t realize the possibilities until I saw the Track Chair Extreme Ripchair 3.0. What an amazing machine to make the inaccessible, accessible.
