Backpack Drive for OUSD students

Every year there are families right here in Orange who struggle to provide their children with all of the necessary supplies for a new school year.  Seven Gables Real Estate is holding a Backpack Drive to support those students of Orange Unified School District who are homeless, in foster care, or socioeconomically disadvantaged.  We are raising money to purchase backpacks and school supplies to prepare these students to learn each day.  All proceeds will be used to purchase schoool supplies to fill 150 backpacks.  

Want to help?  Here's what you can do:

1.  Donate to our cause!  All of the proceeds from this drive will be used to purchase backpacks or supplies to fill them.  Any amount will help a student in need.  If you would like to "Adopt-A-Backpack," you can view the supply list below and donate the corresponding amount for the age group you wish to support, which will provide one backpack completely full of the supplies from OUSD teachers' back-to-school lists. 


2.  Attend the Build-A-Backpack event on Sat, August 20th at Seven Gables Real Estate in Old Towne Orange from 12-4pm.  Help fill backpacks with supplies, enjoy a healthy BBQ and meet new members of the community! *Please RSVP by Wed, August 17th with Jessica at [phone redacted]*

3.  If you'd like, you may bring donations of supplies or backpacks to the Build-A-Backpack event on Aug. 20th.
 
4.  Spread the word about the Backpack Drive around the community!  Please share this page to help support students in need.

Help us reach our goal of $7,500, which will provide 150 full backpacks (at $50 each) for students in need.
