Save Bella!

For the next 36 hours, our regular campaign is suspended! We are trying to rescue a Belgian mare named Bella from the kill pen. Every so often an animal comes along to complete a purpose in our lives, and we feel strongly that Bella is that type of animal. She and Bullet would make a team that could move what we need moved on the farm without a tractor, and she would enable us to ride in pairs, instead of one person at a time on Bullet.

PLEASE consider helping to bail Bella out and bring her here to Ballyhoo! We can't save them all, but together we can save this one. Bella's deadline (literally) is Friday, October 14th, at 6pm EST.

Ballyhoo Farm and Fiber Emporium has moved!! The new place is great - room for everyone, three springs that feed the pond, rotational pastures, and a dedicated fiber building with road frontage! But with greatness comes responsibility.

$1500 - The Emporium needs electricity and the original 1929 floors need repair. If the cellar steps are repaired, the cellar could be used for extra workshop space. One window needs new glass and the building needs a good pressure washing and a new coat of paint.
