Teddy bears for grieving families

Hi I'm Michelle, I'm mummy to four babies that I never got to meet, why ... Because I lost them early on in pregnancy to miscarriage all before 16 weeks gestation,
But it was after my second loss of what would of been my third child that I decided to make a change, we found out at a emergency scan that our precious baby had died at just 6 weeks and I should of been 9, even though we had the scan we didn't think to ask for the photo .. I guess we was in shock, we chose the name Teagan for our newest angel and Tayten for our first baby we had lost.
Soon after this we decided to buy a teddy bear to acknowledge our babies and we found that this helped us with our grief, we would hug it when we felt sad and it would sit on a shelf watching over our first rainbow baby, because we felt a lot of comfort from this we wanted to be able to offer this comfort to other families affected so later in 2010 we decided to start fundraising and set up bearforanangel, soon after we funded our first few bears.
In July 2015, we decided to make up a memory package using a teddy bear and a certificate, after coming across the no sew type bears we decided these would be perfect as families can make them up together, we provide part funding or funding of these bear packages is available to anyone in the uk who's affected by pregnancy, baby or child loss from just 4 weeks gestation to the age of 21 years.
Our memory bear package contains:
A 8 inch teddy bear skin in blue, pink, beige or cream
A bag of stuffing
A wishing star
Our bfaa poem card (see poem above)
A tea light
A teddy bear certificate
We donate tiny teddies to families affected by early babyloss from 4-28 weeks gestation who cannot afford our other options,
We have helped over 400 families get one of our bears but with one in every ten women losing a baby early on in pregnancy, still birth, neonatal death and other child deaths our service is more important than ever to these families.

Provide an emotional support network via our Facebook & Twitter pages
Fund raise to buy the items needed for our package's
Connect grieving families via our social media pages & our sponsoring option
Provide funding of a B.f.a.A memory packages
Provide free tiny teddy bears and birth certificates for families effected by early loss from 4-28 weeks gestation
Provide free memorial pages in partnership with Much Loved
Help families acknowledge their precious babies sadly gone too soon
Raise awareness of pregnancy, baby & child loss
Just £4 will fund a tiny teddy for a family affected by early loss, 4-28 weeks gestation
£12 will donate a memory bear package to a family affected by babyloss from 4 weeks gestation to the age of 21 years.
