Bella's Torn ACL Surgery

Donation protected
Bella needs surgery to repair her TWO torn ACLs. At only two years old, she deserves to live a pain free life going forward.

Beautiful Bella was surrendered to Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue by her original owner who could no longer keep her. He stated he was moving and could not take her with him. DITR agreed to help find Bella a new furever home. As beautiful as she is, she receive lots of interest but for now she is waiting in her foster home until she is fully healthy. The first day she arrived at her foster home, her foster dad noticed she was limping in pain. We quickly scheduled a vet visit for Bella to find out she had a torn ACL. We don't know how long she's been in this pain but we do know she cannot continue to suffer. We scheduled the surgery and the day came for her in-depth evaluation a week before the procedure. It was then we found out she had TWO torn ACLs!! Both of her back legs have a torn ACL that needs to be surgically repaired. This poor girl continues to give love, kisses, and is excited to greet anyone that comes through the front door. She enjoys going on short walks and playing some fetch in the backyard (her foster dad has to limit these amounts until she is all better) and she especially LOVES laying by someone's side while licking lots of peanut butter out of her Kong toy. This beauty is an absolute lover and you would never know she was hurting by her positive attitude. She's a trooper and deserves to be pain free.

Bella is only two yeards old and has her whole life ahead of her. Please consider helping us fund Bella's first surgery as the first leg is scheduled to be repaired on September 28th. She will have an 8 week recovery. Then her second surgery will be scheduled after that and also have an 8 week recovery. It will be a long few months for her and her foster dad who is dedicated to giving Bella all the care she needs through this process.
