Kerry Berget Medical Fund

Kerry was diagnosed with throat cancer over 6 years ago. This past year, during a routine examination, they discovered that his throat cancer had metastasized from his throat to his lungs.  

Treatment for this cancer started with a very aggressive chemotherapy. Unfortunately, this treatment attacked his heart and caused him to go into AFIB and experience multiple heart-attacks.

Since then, his body has been working to recover and gain strength to continue his treatments. His new immunotherapy treatment has started and we continue to pray for positive results.

Throughout this process he has been hospitalized several times, often for a week or more to get him stable before returning home. Additionally, he has needed some advanced care due to the fact that he is not only battling cancer, but a bad case of pneumonia.

The Berget family is looking to use this fundraiser as a way to compensate for medical expenses that have been incurred during this very difficult time.
