6th Annual Birthday Fundraiser for Care For Real

As a resident of Edgewater for the past 6 years, I wanted my 6th annual birthday fundraiser to support an organization that is near and dear to me both physically and personally. What better mission to support than a local, community-based organization? Plus, Care For Real was co-founded by Rabbi Herman Schaalman (z"l), the rabbi emeritus of Emanuel Congregation, the reform synagogue where I serve as director of operations.

More information about Care for Real: Our mission is to help our neighbors in the Edgewater community by providing food, clothing and counseling services to those in need. We do this through on-site food distribution, deliveries to the homebound, a free clothes closet and a case-management program to help clients connect with other services they may need.
