Ramon's Get Well Fund

Ramon went missing in the early morning of July 7th. The first phone calls were made to friends, hospitals and local establishments. Then, an official missing person report was filed as his partner had no luck. A community was born to desperately find him through a vast network on Facebook, fliers, door to door contact and a press release brought us closer to locating him. 

A miracle happened on Monday, July 14th. Wendy and Michael went back to check on the status of the missing persons report and spoke to the detectives. Unknowingly, the same detective they had spoken to was the same one that had fingered printed Ramon to identify him the week prior. (His hands were too swollen to get a full print). They presented the detective with the flier that was made for Ramon and the detective was flabbergasted as he recognized him right away. He informed them that he is almost certain that this was the same person and that he was at Cedars Sinai. The detective called the hospital and Ramon was still there, but under a pseudonym name “Trauma Echo”. Wendy and Michael rushed to the hospital to go identify him and he was found!     

It is devastating to inform everyone that Ramon had passed away and was pulled off life support due to his minimal chance of survival.

Michael has been left to pick up the pieces. The donations will assist with sustaining living expenses that Ramon and Michael had together and to help with the immediate family during this difficult time.
