Fundraising for 4th of July Fireworks and Parade

Donation protected
Support the Double Ender Celebrations, a 501C4 non-profit civic organization established in 1985, dedicated to orchestrating the vibrant 4th of July festivities on Block Island. Funded solely by generous donations from groups, businesses, locals, and visitors, this organization is independent of the Town of New Shoreham.

The heart of the celebration lies in the hometown parade on July 4th, honoring local heroes and community members with 40-50 floats crafted by various community groups, organizations, businesses, and families. The breathtaking display and lightshow, held on July 1st, illuminates the skies from a barge across from Fred Benson Beach Pavilion.

Your contributions, of any size, are crucial to sustaining these cherished traditions. Donations support the $35,000 lightshow, barge and transportation costs, $10,000 for hiring off-island bands, color-guard, and parade entertainment, as well as $5,000 for general administrative costs.

Be a part of this Block Island tradition by donating and spreading the word. Contact us via our website blockisland4th.com. Follow us on Facebook (facebook.com/BI4thofJuly) and Instagram (@blockisland4thofjuly) for updates. Snail mail donations can be sent to P.O. Box 808 Block Island, RI 02807.

Let's ensure the Block Island 4th of July remains a spectacular celebration for years to come!
