Who is this book for?

Amatuer gardeners, Permaculture designers, homesteaders, and anyone with a passion to grow.

What will it contain?

Introductory information on what permaculture is and why this book will be important for you.  The bulk of the book will contain information on Plants and Fungi, how you can use them, and how to cultivate them.

When will it be released?

The goal is to have the rough draft finished by the end of 2016.

Where can you get it?

If a publisher cannot be secured, I will self publish and have it available on Amazon.com.

Why should you read it?

This book will help you make a more informed decision on what to grow.  You will be able to choose foods and medicines that suit the needs of your family or business.   This book will be an invaluable tool in making ethical decisions and moving towards a more self sustaining and healthy lifestyle.

Which plants will be included?

A vast variety of plants, with a strong emphasis on native plants and common nursery trade plants.  Other lesser known edible and medicinal plants will be included as well.

Which ecoregions will this book cover?

Temperate, Mediterranean, Desert, Maritime, and possibly Subtropical regions.

My goal is to raise money to help pay for research material and reference books for a book I am writing. The aim of this book is to be a guide to The Ethnobotanical uses of plants and how they fit into Permaculture design.

My target readerbase are those living in North America, but my hope is that anyone living anywhere can make great use of the book. The set up of the book will be organized by design layer and how the plants can be utilized. I will cover the edible, medicinal, and practical uses of plants (dyes, fibers, tools, toys, instruments, etc). I will cover a large variety of plants, including common nursery plants and a strong emphasis on North American Native plants. I want to inspire others to explore the amazing variety of plants that are available to us, to use what is best for themselves and their family. I hope to come across with simplicity, yet to be all inclusive in what is covered.
