Barn Raisin'
Donation protected
Hello friends. Many of you know by now that the Bowden farm, formerly the Sherburne farm, suffered a devastating fire this morning, February 2nd. Jason and Heather Bowden have worked extremely hard to start this business and now have a mountain of new problems to deal with. This is a space to share your love and friendship with them by supporting them with a donation that may help cover some of the costs of reclaiming their family farm.
In case anyone had this question, my name is Erin Sherburne Campbell. I am Fred Sherburne' oldest daughter and I grew up on this farm. My grandfather, Weston R. Sherburne, built the farm and farmed it his whole life, with my dad, his brother Joe and my cousin Shawn continuing the tradition. My three month old son is named Weston after my Grampa! Selling the farm was a huge decision for our family and we are thrilled to have passed it on to such wonderful people as Jason and Heather. We have all lost so much this week...us the sentimental value of a building built by a loved one and the look of the home we hold dear, and the Bowdens the livelihood they had worked so hard to achieve. The funds we have raised together will be electronically transferred to Jason and Heather's bank account in the next few days. Thank you all for your support of our two families this week. The stories you've shared and the love you've shown goes far toward healing the wounds. Bless you all!
