Koinonia School of Discipleship is a ministry of The Sanctuary Church in Cedar Rapids Iowa and is a tool for the Cedar Rapids Church community. It is a six month in-house discipleship school designed for new Christians, to come, to live and learn the basics of Christianity in a total Christian environment. This is a place that challenges them to explore the Word of God and learn to seek God's calling and direction for their individual lives. We are here to encourage and inspire new Christians to be proactive in their calling, church and community. 
The school that we are housed in was built in 1910. Because of this we are now faced with necessary building code upgrades that requires a fire sprinkler system that must be addressed immediately. This is a wonderful 29,000 sq ft. facility setting on two acres in Cedar Rapids Iowa that meets all of our current needs for the housing, meals, schooling, devotions and worship that takes place daily.
