BrainTumour Charity Judo Tournament
Donation protected
Aged just 24, Jamie MacDonald, who had competed in judo at the Commonwealth Games, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Since then he has worked tirelessly to raise the profile of those who have similar conditions.
My name is Simon Goodman and I am a judo player and student reading Sport and Recreation Management at the University of Edinburgh and have been deeply touched by Jamie’s story so have decided to do something about it
On Saturday 17th June The Brain Tumour Charity Judo Tournament 2017 will take place at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff and will aim to raise as much money and awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity.
The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, funding pioneering research and providing support for those affected. We are committed to defending the most amazing part of the human body so that the diagnosis of a brain tumour no longer means a death sentence.
£250 funds a day of research to further understand particular brain tumour types
£100 could reach 75 families through our awareness-raising HeadSmart campaign
£25 could provide essential information to someone living with a brain tumour
If you feel you can donate anything, no matter how small please do so as the more that is raised the more help can be given
If you wish to enter the competition then please go to https://www.onlineentries.co.uk/events/charity/
