Brian's Recumbent Bike

After 15 years of not riding, I finally managed to pick up a bike. Problem is, I've gotten older, and my knees aren't what they once were, nor is my back. I'd really like to pick up a recumbent trike to help me keep in shape, but am unable to get a loan that doesn't require 'loan shark' interest rates. My current employment doesn't allow me to save any significant amounts, and I can make rent and bills, but barely anything more than that. Saving is pretty difficult, as at the end of each month, I've got enough to pay the rent. As a 40+ year old male, I want to watch what I eat, my weight and other things. Having a recumbent trike would make going out and getting some exercise not only easier for me, but also something that I would really enjoy doing, since I love biking (or in this case, triking.)

I know that asking for $3000 is a lot to ask, but I'm hoping that with this amount, I can get onto a good trike that will last me a long time, and have the accessories that will be needed for getting me around town, and back and forth to work with a small load. The one I'm looking at is a Catrike Pocket , it's just my size. I tried one out, and fell in love with it instantly.

If you would be willing to help me with this endeavor, my gratitude would be unending. I'm uncertain as to what to offer as reward for helping out in this fashion, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thank you and ride safely,
Brian E. Turner
