brooke and a book

I've always wanted to write a book. Since I was young, I filled up many a journal, writing stories upon stories about my life. Becuase of what I've been through, I know I was not meant to stay quiet about it. So, I'm finally taking a leap of faith: 

I'm going to write a book. 

My first step in this journey has been my blog, step into bravery.  I am finding myself in a state of healing and wholeness, being able to acknowledge, process, and grow from my story. More surprisingly, a number of people have reached out telling me how much my posts have meant to them and through reading, are able to become a truer version of themselves. 

My hope in writing my blog and book are to help others be able to embrace their own bravery. We chalk up bravery to something huge, when in reality we encounter it on a daily basis. I want people to acknowledge their own bravery and support others with the movement share your brave . 

So here I am, making one of the biggest and scariest decisions I have ever made. I'm taking this writing thing on full time. 

I am asking for your support in this venture of mine. The many words of encouragement have meant so much. A very special thank you to everyone who has followed along with my blog; reading, sharing and sending feedback. And, as much as words help fuel the fire, money also goes a long way. It helps with the bills (never ending student loans), it eases the anxiety of income, and it provides a little “cushion," helping me truly see this dream come into fruition.
