Hello! My name is Presley Goucher and I am a sophmore in high school.
I have started this gofundme to help the children of Gulu, Uganda. I have partnered with 'Love Does' author, Bob Goff and his team at 'Love Does' to help start raising funds to build a school in Uganda. The cost to build a school is roughly around $15,000 and $40,000. The difference in the costs is by the quaility of the schools and the supplies needed to make it happen. In the fall of 2016, me and two of my family members will be taking an exploritory trip to Gulu for 10 days. In this 10 days, we will be visiting the schools that have already been built by 'Love Does' and also a safe house they have created for girls who have been treated poorly by family members. The purpose of this trip for me is to find the place in Gulu that needs education the most, and start from there!
And I need you!! Over the next 5 months, I need to raise around $11,000 for the exploritory trip, but anything after that will go directly towards the funding to build a school. My ultimate goal is to build a school in Uganda before I graduate high school in May of 2018.
I would appreciate ANY donations! I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am that we have this opportunity to change the futures of hundreds of kids in Africa by building schools.
