CUPS OF BLESSINGS
We have been given the oppertunity to work with what some people would call the lost, hurt and outcast. My heart literally hurts when I see some of the conditions these young people are in, physically and emotionally.
We minister to young people that have experienced homelessness, sexual abuse , domestic violence, academic failure, gang exposure, depression, etc.
One of the barriers we face with working with this population is that families do not have money to support the Ministry. Your donation to our 501(c)(3)will go toward the building expansion and the services described below.
John Wesley Ministries was founded in 1985 under the leadership of Reverend James Cash. His goal was to provide a holistic ministry that caters to the spiritual and social needs of people throughout the United States, with a focus on bringing positive change to Miami Dade County.
Presently, we are a small ministry with a big heart. Under the leadership of Pastor Deborah Porter for the past nine years, we know that it is now time to expand and continue the vision. The desire is to work with children that we can empower so that they may experience positive futures. In addition to our worship services the ministry provides individuals with spiritual counseling, mentoring, advocacy, enrichment and outreach services to the following populations:
- Families
- Children
- Seniors
-College Students
- the Homeless and the underserved
John Wesley Ministries has been a beacon of hope to the community for over 30 years. Once we have completed the expansion of our facilities, we will expand our services to include childcare, tutoring, and mental health services. In addition, we will provide food and clothes to those in need.
We want to touch the hearts of the people with the love of God. The area where the facility is being built is undergoing a much needed revitalization. John Wesley Ministries wants to continue being a beacon of Light that leads to Hope, Pouring Out Cups Of Blessings. We are thrilled and excited about all the work that we have set out to do. However, we can't do it alone. We need your help!!
Your donation of any kind will go strictly to the building fund and for any of the services above. All donations are tax deductible.
