Build an Orphanage in Nigeria
Donation protected
This past Easter I was introduced to Timothy Ojo and his family who were in the country for a few months to raise money to build an orphanage back in their native country of Nigeria. We talked for quite awhile about the desperate situation of many of the children there. He informed me that there are over 10 million orphans in Nigeria alone. Being a parent of an adopted child, I was deeply troubled by this.
I parted ways with Mr. Ojo, but not before setting up a date for him and his family to come to our home for dinner to talk more about the needs of his ministry in Nigeria. More than anything I wanted to introduce him to a close group of friends so they could catch the same vision Ojo had shared with me.
And so Timothy and his two daughters came knocking on our door last night. We enjoyed a meal together, and then sat down to let him tell his story. When it was all said and done we were left with two big questions...
When can we come to Nigeria?
And
What is the most urgent need we can help you with until then?
Ojo answered the first question in a snap.
"Any time," he said with a big grin.
"And as for the most pressing need..." he paused, "We really need to build this orphange."
That was last night, and now his words are still ringing in my head. I have thought of many different ideas to raise the money, but this might be the simplest and easiest way to see Timothy's dream become a reality.
We would like to raise $50,000 to build a permanent orphange for the Ojo's, and you can help by giving a donation of any amount.
Here is the simple idea:
For $10 you can buy one brick of the orphange, and get your name on a plaque to be hung on the wall upon completion!
Give safely and easily right now, and be a part of what God is doing for the children of Nigeria!
Thanks!
