New Housing for C.A.R.E. Cats & Dogs
Tax deductible
C.A.R.E. was founded in 1992 and in 1998 we opened a no-kill cage-free Sanctuary located on two acres of land in Littlerock, CA in the Antelope Valley.
Our Sanctuary is "home sweet home" to more than 300 rescued cats and dogs at any one time, of varying ages, health status and adoptability - until their forever homes are found or life. C.A.R.E. provides lifetime medical treatment for our residents who have chronic but manageable illnesses whether they are ferals, or "behaviorally challenged" or elderly. After 21 years of C.A.R.E.'s existence and saving thousands of cats and dogs, you would think that there would be less need for a place like C.A.R.E. Unfortunately it seems that the situation with homeless pets is only getting worse!
C.A.R.E. desperately needs funds, so we can keep the pledge we made so many years ago to the "innocents without voices". We want to build two large buildings equipped with swamp-coolers and heaters with an indoor and outdoor space for each of our rescued dogs. We have quite a few older dogs and we want them to be cozy, especially in the cold winter days. We are located in the High Desert and temperatures reach over 100 in the summer and below freezing in the winter. The cats are housed in a house that was built in the 1950's and is in desperate need of upgrades and expansion. Please help us make the lives of our rescued dogs and cats more comfortable ones; no amount is too small, everything helps.
We've come a long way since 1992, but we still have such a long way to go. Our survival and future depends on your friendship and generosity and together we can help thousands more homeless cats and dogs.
