UCI World Masters Championships LA

Let's do it again!

I just can't stop doing what I do.
I just can't stop finding ways to be a better bike rider.
Life is to short to not do what you love, to not be who you are.

Last year I asked your help  to get to LA, to defend 3 world titles. I thought I shouldn't be asking again, but a friend convinced me I should and not to be ashamed to ask.
So here we go again... (Talking about coming out of your comfortzone to progress...)

I have 3 world titles to defend, again, in LA in October, it is absolutely unbelievable. I also broke my all time best in the 500 but still see so many things I can do better, I want to do better.
It is those big events that push me to the max and with no European masters track championships or other event on the calender this year, I really want to do my thing in LA.

As a self-employed track cycling coach trying to make ends meet and being an amateur athlete I rely on friends that help me out. I have no sponsors or supported program. With your help I organize everything myself.

Last year I achieved a lot:
- Broke my all time best in the 500
- Unofficially broke the 200m world record in 200m
- 4x World Masters Games Champion
- 2x UEC European Masters Champion, 1x silver
- 3x UCI World Masters Champion, 1x bronze
- Sportspersonality Amsterdam Nieuw-West

To be able to do my thing this year in LA I need:
- A plane ticket.
- A place to stay.
- A rental car.
- To pay the entry fee for the championships $500,-

It is absolutely unbelievable I ever, even once became a world champion. I have so many people to thank, that have been part of the journey so far.
