A Hand Up, Not A Handout

Hi guys. I've come back to this GoFundMe to ask for help for something that is badly needed in my life. For those wondering, yes, this is the same GoFundMe that we used to help raise funds to get my son the things that he needed to have a successful freshman year of high school. I can't begin to express just how blessed we were by the funds that were raised. 

Which brings me back to now. As some of you know, due to my son's disabilities, it's near impossible for me to work outside of the home. However, I have been blessed to be able to work as an editor for comics and multiple authors. I am able to work from home, set my own schedule, and still be there every day to help Ben with his schoolwork or whatever it is that he needs. This is not only important to me, but has allowed him to really succeed in school. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of the work that he's put in and the success that he's seeing from it.

Right, typical me, I've rambled off course. Here's the scoop: 

My laptop is my lifeline to not only the outside world, but also to work.  I use it to run multiple websites, edit for multiple writers, and to write my own stories.  Recently, I fell asleep and when I woke up, the side of my laptop had melted. There is a serious problem with the electric input and on top of that, my laptop is essentially dying. 

I can't be without it. It's because of it that I am able to take care of my boys and to pick up paying jobs from time to time. Here's where you come in... I'm asking for those of you who can to donate funds to help me replace it before it dies completely. I know times are hard and that some of you gave back in the fall to help with Ben's school needs. I completely understand if you can't help again. I promise no hard feelings.

I just ask that if you can help out not only my family, but help me to be able to make my dreams as a writer a reality, that you do so...

Please note that any funds received above and beyond what is actually needed for a new laptop will go towards much needed vehicle repairs on our only method of getting around.
