On July 23rd, 2014, Matt Carp (pictured in white on the left of the main photo) was struck and killed by a speeding vehicle while cycling with a friend. Although he was wearing a helmet, he was thrown from his bicycle and suffered major head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. Matt Carp was an avid cyclist who rode anywhere between 60-100 miles a day. Matt was passionate about bicycling and loved to ride. He was known to be a safe cyclist who wore a helmet at all times and obeyed the traffic laws. Matt Carp was a family man and beloved friend, father and husband.

We are asking for any and all donations to help the Carp family during these extremely difficult times in losing two family members within two days of each other. Matt Carp was the main provider of the household, and any help to ease the future financial burden will be greatly appreciated.
