Future of Chabad UC - Let's Grow!

We are thrilled to serve our local Jewish community, celebrate holidays with friends, experience the Jewish lifecycle events together, BUT WE WANT TO GROW! There are many individuals within our neighborhood that don't have a synagogue to call "home," they don't have a community to attend at the High Holidays or Chanukah and they don't know that there are Rabbi's available for sagely advice, assist in times of crises or to just be a friend. We want to expand our outreach activities and grow our community!
With your help, Chabad of UC will increase its outreach initiatives into the local community. New innovative programming will be introduced to reach further than ever before!
The Chabad Center of UC is one of the most welcoming synagogues in town! Family oriented, non-judgmental, friendly, warm and laid back are just some of ways we hear our community described. We believe that everyone, regardless of background or affiliation, should approach Judaism and spirituality at their own pace.
Rabbi Moishe Leider likes to compare Chabad of UC to visiting a grocery store. When you go shopping, you are probably only going to purchase or peruse through a small fraction of the average 35,000 products that today's supermarkets carry. Different people are interested in differents types of food; the grocery stores have something for every lifestyle.
Chabad of UC is like a grocery store in that we want to be assured that there is something for everyone! Our neighborhood's demographics are changing and the synagogue needs to change to keep up with the communitie's needs. With your help, we want to add more "products" to our "grocery store."
