Help Charmaine Recover from a Stroke & Lightning!

Charmaine Neville has added music and magic to New Orleans for decades. This year, she needs our help. A couple of weeks ago, lightning directly struck Charmaine's house, causing extensive electrical, structural, and aesthetic damage to the historic home. This is on top of her having suffered a debilitating stroke earlier this year in the spring. What kind of damage are we talking? Most of her upstairs windows were destroyed, all the 100+ year old wiring and electrical needed replaced, all electrical appliances were destroyed, as well as lots of exterior interior non-structural damage. The house literally jumped it was hit so hard by lightning!

Not only is Charmaine facing tens of thousands of dollars in repairs, she is also very limited in her ability to make money due to the stroke. We need folks who love Charmaine and all the beauty she adds to our world to step up and donate so she can heal her house and have safety and security while she gets back to her normal rhythm of life. For years, Charmaine has donated her music-making to dozens of different nonprofits and causes, at one time being dubbed the "queen of fundraisers". When not adding joy to the world and raising money by making music, she gifted her talents to helping kids with disabilities learn how to play music. All over the world, there are folks who have been inspired to add their own musical magic to the world thanks to Charmaine. We are hoping that this fundraiser will not only repair the damage done by the recent lightning strike, but also give her the resources to keep pursuing her passion of inspiring more folks to share their light through music.
