Thank you for taking the time to read our short story.
We are wanting to help raise awareness and help raise funds for a very important charity called SEED EATING DISORDER SUPPORT SERVICES ( a Nonprofit charity) to help with the vital services they provide.
Eating disorders have the HIGHEST rate of Mortalitys in all the Mental Health illnesses, unfortunately we was one of them family’s that suffered with the worst devastating outcomes
We are committed to help SEED and to help fight for a change so people who are suffering can get the best help possible and to help Seed hopefully get there new premises which they are planning on naming one of their Therapy rooms.

When I’m at the summit of the mountains it makes me feel closer to my baby girl so I’m wanting to try and climb some big mountains in her memory! Everest would be Amazing.Maybe one day
OUR BEAUTIFUL CHELSEA BLUE.
Chelsea was a lovely bubbly girl, who loved to help people. She was an amazing BIG SISTER with so much love for her siblings. She loved to sing and dance and was a fantastic gymnast for over 7 years competing and winning medals up and down the UK for her local club. She could of gone really far

Unfortunately at the age of 13 she suffered with a very rapidly escalating eating disorder which seen her be admitted into hull royal hospital with Anorexia. She was soon sectioned from there to a inpatient hospital where things went drastically wrong with her care..
After been to a number of different hospitals she spent the last 18month in a low secure psychiatric hospital in Sheffield.
unfortunately On the 10th of April while I was away at sea I got the call no parent should get, that my baby girl had done an act of self harm whilst at a psychiatric secure hospital. 15 hours travelling to get back to say my last good night. SADLY, on the 12th of April, Chelsea failed the 7 stage stem cell test and was pronounced dead at 14:52 Chelsea Blue lost her battle.
ORGAN DONATIONS.
So on her unfortunate death we decided that Chelsea would be happy to put her organs up for donation as they would be able to help people with a life that she didn't want. Chelsea successfully donated her Heart, Kidneys and liver. 4 families have all been helped with the help of our baby girl... Our real life super hero! Even in her darkest of days.
The reason why we have chosen to help Seed is because of there constant support from beginning to end.
I only found Seed when Chelsea was in Hull Royal hospital and at the time they gave me phone and email support with the foresight of working with Chelsea when she came home. Unfortunately Chelsea was sectioned from Hull hospital and never came home again. Even after Chelseas passing Marg and Gemma Oaten have supported me with kind words and offers of help. Gemma has been so so supportive and even when she’s fighting for change and busy working she still found the time to make sure I was ok and offered support to me and my family.
That constant support and heart felt messages from Gemma and the team at Seed have helped in ways I can’t describe and I’m forever grateful
Seed is run by a beautiful family who set up the charity because there wasn’t the help out there for Eating disorders.
we want change and together we can get that.
We raised nearly £15,000 in our last fundraising campaign where we raised for Chelsea’s much loved local clubs - Bridlington Gymnastics club and the singing and performing clubs at her schools. Let’s try and break that figure and help SEED carry on doing amazing things and helping to save life’s
