Midwest Books to Prisoners
Donation protected
Midwest Books to Prisoners is a group of volunteers who send books to prisoners in the midwest. Yep, it's that simple... sort of.
Prisons in this country are overcrowded, and education and rehabilitation are no longer priorites. Midwest Books to Prisoners recieves dozens of letters each week, and about once a month they get together to read those letters and reply with letters and books. Books, time and shipping supplies are donated, but the postage is not.
This is why they need your help. An anonymous donor has offered to match all donations for postage recieved this week (up to $150).
Every $5 you contribute means $10 for postage. That is at least 2 letters answered, 2 books recieved.
So, help them out. Make a donation. Send a book that could help change a prisoner's life.
