Sandwich Run DC Classic

September 13, 2014, The H.U.G.S. Foundation in partnership with Steps by Stephens Co., Psi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and the Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Inc. will be hosting a direct service community outreach initiative named “Sandwich Run DC Classics.” Sandwich Run Dc Classics is an outreach initiative aimed at feeding the hungry and homeless residents of the Greater DC Metropolitan community who struggle to consistently provide meals for themselves and their families. We will have volunteers from the surrounding colleges and universities assist in this effort by preparing sandwiches and bag lunches that will be handed out to the residents of the community. In order to successfully accomplish this goal, Sandwich Run DC Classics seeks to find donors to help in the acquisition of food items that will be used to fill the lunch bags. We also would like to have your help in promoting the event to the population that your organization serves so that those who are in need may receive help. If you are not able to donate actual goods to the initiative, we still invite your participation in the event. We would like to thank you in advance for your help.
