Clean Sweep. Two Neighborhoods. One Goal.

The Near West Side Neighborhood Organization (NWSNO) is having our annual Spring neighborhood cleanup taking place Saturday on April 27, 2019. This event is a great way to bring neighbors together while cleaning up and beautifing our neighborhood.
This year we are partnering with the newly formed, Bendix Park Neighborhood Association for CLEAN SWEEP and again with the amazing volunteers from the City of South Bend's Code Enforcement!
Our two neighborhood organizations are trying to raise the bar for our annual event but WE NEED YOUR HELP. The NWSNO is a "dues optional" organization as we strive to be inclusive of all our neighbors. This makes donations an especially critical part of our livelyhood and ability to stay operational. All donations made to this GoFundMe campaign will be used to cover the costs involved for this event as well as aid both neighborhoods in implementing future neighborhood projects (think "seed money").
Some COSTS we need to cover for this event include are:
- SIGNS! You've gotta get the word out if you wanna get volunteers!
- FOOD! We like to feed and caffeinate our volunteers in the morning and again, after all their hard work, in the afternoon!
- OTHER SUPPLIES! Last year we had about 60 people show up to help! That's a lot of paper plates, napkins, and utensils!
We know that you have A LOT of options for donating your hard earned money. Anything you can give will help. We promise. All donations will be split 50/50 between the NWSNO and Bendix Park Neighborhood Association.
